Mini-maxi mercury free thermometer
REF 2044
The mini-max thermometer, also known as a Six's thermometer (named after its inventor James Six), is an instrument that records the minimum temperature, maximum temperature, and the current temperature since the last reading.
It operates using two columns containing a liquid and a movable metal index in each column. These markers follow the movement of the liquid but remain fixed when the temperature changes direction, thus preserving the extreme values reached.
A small magnet (black button) allows the markers to be reset to the current temperature, thereby resetting the measurement for a new recording period.
