STIL’s CSR commitments
Since 2011, STIL has invested 2.6 million euros in a new factory and new production processes, part of the development of our CSR approach by acting on the following :
In particular, the company has managed to reduce the total energy used by 20% for premises that are twice as large. It is continually seeking to reduce its consumption.
For the safety of our employees, we have eliminated 100% of hydrofluoric and nitric acids from our process and drastically reduced the presence and use of mercury.
The production premises (workshops, storage areas, etc.) and the areas dedicated to staff (rest room, canteen, relaxation area) have been redesigned to improve working conditions and productivity.
In partnership with CRAMIF… STIL has invested in ergonomic seats, a constant level table, a mini-stacker…
In 2016, STIL decided to set up environmental audits with its suppliers, thereby completing the social and technical audits already performed, and has continued with these audits ever since.
Within the framework of the PM’UP scheme, financial support granted by the Ile-de-France region to facilitate the growth of SMEs, STIL has committed itself to carrying out different actions on a social, environmental and societal level by reinforcing its links with local structures.
