Mini-maxi mercury free thermometer
REF 2044
The minimum-maximum thermometer, also known as the Six's thermometer (named after its inventor James Six), is a temperature measuring instrument that allows you to know:
• the minimum temperature reached since the last reading,
• the maximum temperature reached since the last reading,
• the current temperature.
How does it work?
This thermometer contains two columns:
• One for the minimum temperature.
• Another for the maximum temperature.
In each column, there is a small cursor (metal index) that moves with the liquid but stays in place when the temperature changes direction. You can then read the minimum and maximum temperatures recorded since the last reset.
A small magnet (black button) allows you to reset the cursors to the current position to start a new measurement period.
