    The Electronic Frying Oil Tester – An Essential Tool for Food Service Professionals

    The electronic tester for frying oils is an indispensable tool for food service professionals. It provides a fast and reliable method to ensure the quality of frying oils. By measuring the level of polar compounds, this tester accurately indicates when the oil becomes unsuitable for use, thanks to a light indicator system that displays different quality levels. This tester is quick and easy to use.

    Why Use It?
    It is essential to regularly test frying oils because used or degraded oils can produce harmful compounds, such as polar compounds, which pose health risks like cardiovascular diseases and other disorders.

    Additionally, oil quality directly affects the taste, texture, and overall quality of fried foods. Poor-quality oil can lead to dishes with a rancid or burnt taste, negatively impacting the customer's dining experience. Testing oils ensures they are changed at the right time, preserving both customer health and oil consumption.

    This tester helps you comply with regulations concerning polar compounds (Decree No. 2008-184 of 02/26/2008), simplifying inspections by the DDPP.
    You only replace the oil when necessary, reducing oil consumption.
    You prevent oil waste through regular testing.

    Usage Tips

    Warning: This oil tester cannot be used to measure animal fats (beef fat, duck fat, etc.). It is only designed for testing vegetable oils.
    For efficient and safe use of the frying oil tester, carefully read the instruction manual.

    Before testing, ensure that the frying oil is between 60°C and 100°C, as temperature can affect the accuracy of results.
    Insert the AAA batteries and turn on the device.
    Immerse the sensor in the oil without stirring to avoid altering the reading.
    Leave the sensor in the oil for 20 to 60 seconds to obtain an accurate measurement.

    After use:
    Clean the sensor thoroughly to remove any oil residue—this is crucial for ensuring reliable measurements in future tests.
    Store the tester in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, to avoid damage.
    Regularly replace the batteries to maintain optimal device performance.
